Sales Assistant

Zoom is an Online Video Agency specializing in video production and web video integration services. We are a looking for a Sales Assistant to help with our new business development and marketing efforts. Your responsibilities will include supporting our sales team by way of prospecting for new clients, sales engagement through direct emails, proposal writing and various other marketing duties.

You have to be a self-starter that can work well independently and isn't afraid to ask questions. A sense of humour and a drive to succeed is critical. There is opportunity to grow with this position in either a full time sales or marketing position. We need someone that is looking for a young, creative and energetic company. Ultimately you must adhere to our core values and fit within the Zoom culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote and help sell the features, advantages and benefits of Zoom's products and services
• Gain knowledge of the industry and related products/technology
• Generate sales prospect lists
• Track, report and record daily sales results
• Proposal writing
• Project quote preparation
• Coordinate Sales/Marketing Events
• Assisting with our website and social media strategies
• Prepare monthly newsletter
• Light Reception Duties including couriers and phones

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES

• Minimum 1 Year Administrative and/or Sales Related Experience
• Attitude and Values that fit with the Zoom culture
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Self-starter / Team Player
• Intermediate to advanced computer and internet knowledge
• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• A positive, "can-do" attitude and customer focused approach
• A technical mind that will quickly pickup on our products and services
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strategic thinker that can identify potential opportunities and act quickly
• Experience and knowledge of online / social media marketing tools
• Experience implementing Guerrilla style marketing campaigns.  Can you do a lot with a little?

Added Value: Knowledge and/or experience with video production, online video delivery and/or website design and development. Any past direct sales experience. Software and/or web application sales and marketing experience.
