New Apple Technology a Game Changer for Zoom
By: Jeff Bradshaw | January 27, 2010
On January 29, Apple will introduce the long anticipated Apple tablet computer. This technological innovation will revolutionize how corporations create, distribute and manage online video.
The iPad is expected to have fully integrated wireless technology that, like the iPhone, will use wi-fi and 3G wireless networks to allow for seamless download of high volumes of digital content. This will allow people to use video in even more ways than before. In fact, Cisco projects by 2013, 90% of all digital traffic will be video.
This means significant change for corporations. Video will be king.
"Corporations need to rethink the tools they use to communicate," says Zoom Web Video Integrations President Jeff Bradshaw, "traditionally, advertising agencies, internal communications and marketing experts have all recommended various forms of print communications to reach key stakeholders - everything from newsletters to sales presentations to employee manuals. All this paper will soon be in the recycle bin."
"Already the cost of distribution and storage for web video has been reduced to virtually nothing. The next stage is the reduction in cost and time required for video production."
In the future, corporations will not have websites – they will have web video channels.
These channels will be created and controlled by the corporation itself through an investment in a small web video studio to allow their executives, sales people and staff interact with vital stakeholders. An executive will walk into the studio in the morning, shoot a short message and the video will be circulating to stakeholders with all the advantages of advanced media production within an hour.
Already, Zoom Web Video Integration has created many web channels for companies who see a new future of web based communication.
"I've been anticipating this change for years. Zoom Web Video Integration has created a new model for video production; we are now focused on the planning, production and delivery of video content for corporate clients. Fast, economic and high impact video will be the new mantra of the video production industry."
